Boxes and Packaging materials

If you are using a removals company they may well supply boxes. If not, or if you are moving yourself, then check out the links below for suppliers of boxes and packaging materials.. If there is something you would like to see on this site (see list below for examples) which is not already here, please click here to let us know.

Top Tip! - If you have smart clothes inyour wardrobes you may want to use what are called hanging rail/wardrobe boxes to keep them hanging nicely whilst you move. These can be supplied by removals companies but also the suppliers linked to above.

Boxes and Bubblewrap and Tissue Paper

Example ImageGetting good strong removal boes is well worth the investment as they will protect your valuables much better. You should use tissue paper or newspaper offcuts [fish and chip paper] to srap your class and china before putting into boxes and use bubblewrap on the larger and heavier items. It is also a good idea to bubblewrap pictures, ligt fittings etc. If in doubt about how best to pack something, try asking a local removal company even if you are doing the move yourself.
